Sherwin brings over 20 years of international experience spanning investment banking, capital markets, private equity, private credit, and strategic investments across Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Throughout his career, Sherwin has advised leading financial institutions, corporates, family offices and high-net-worth individuals on a broad range of financing, M&A, capital raising and investment transactions. Prior to Al Liwan, he held senior roles at Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan, where he advised clients on complex cross-border transactions and strategic growth initiatives across multiple markets.

Beyond investment banking, Sherwin has built and invested in a number of entrepreneurial ventures and private market opportunities, providing him with a unique perspective as both an advisor and principal investor. His experience spans a broad range of sectors, including financial services, technology, infrastructure, healthcare and other growth-oriented industries.

Over the course of his career, Sherwin has been involved in more than US$40 billion of completed transactions globally, including a number of award-winning transactions recognized by IFR, Euromoney, FinanceAsia and The Asset.

At Al Liwan, Sherwin works closely with the Group CEO and leadership team to drive the Group's strategic growth agenda, oversee key client relationships and support the development of the firm's investment banking, wealth management and investment platforms.
