Amy Swartz - Executive Director
Amy brings over 25 years of international experience spanning corporate advisory, investments, governance and business building across North America, Europe, Australia, Asia and the Middle East.
Amy commenced her career in San Francisco at the start of the internet boom of the late ‘90s. In keeping with the accelerated activity of Silicon Valley at the time she had a fast tracked entry to the VC backed start-up sector. She worked with numerous growth stage companies to successfully achieve funding and also to develop corporate and business development strategies with a particular focus on foreign companies relocating to Silicon Valley.
This experience led to a broader career as an investor and venture capitalist and later in asset management when she moved to Switzerland in the 2010s. As well as being a regulated investment professional she worked on the development of Islamic financial products based on European and US assets.
Amy has worked in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia and has been based partly in Abu Dhabi since 2012 and permanently since 2021.
In addition to her experience as an advisor and investor Amy has had significant experience in a variety of executive roles and is a professional Director currently serving on multiple boards in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and the US.
