Toby O'Connor - Head of Investment Banking
Toby brings more than 30 years of international investment banking experience spanning advisory, capital markets, leveraged finance, direct investments and strategic transactions across multiple sectors and geographies.
Throughout his career, Toby has held a number of senior leadership positions, including Managing Director at J.P. Morgan, where he worked within the Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance businesses and served as Head of Sovereign Wealth Funds for the Middle East. He subsequently served as CEO of a Singapore-based pan-Asia merchant bank, leading the firm's strategy, operations and investment activities across Asia and the Middle East.
Toby has advised governments, sovereign wealth funds, financial sponsors, corporates and entrepreneurs on a broad range of strategic, financing and investment opportunities. He has worked extensively with growth companies and management teams across sectors including financial technology, healthcare, renewable energy and other innovation-led industries.
Having lived and worked across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, Toby brings a truly global perspective combined with deep regional relationships and execution experience.
He holds an MSc from the London School of Economics, a BA from Dartmouth College and attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
